Camanda (the “Company”) is more than an academy, it is an experience for our learners, and we are committed to maintaining high standards of value for our users. Our Class Content Policy is designed to help you understand the expectations and guidelines regarding the content delivered in our courses.
Camanda classes should be unbiased, inclusive of all learners, and intentionally designed to represent diverse viewpoints fairly and accurately. We’ve detailed our policies for class content below, and instructors and course developers should observe these guidelines. By adhering to these guidelines, you can create engaging, and effective learning experiences for all learners in our academy.
For the purpose of this agreement, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as an instructor.
By accepting our contract offer, you accept our community standards, class content policy, payment policy and any other standard agreements.
All content should be:
- Unbiased: Class content should be based on fact and evidence, and presented using an unbiased perspective, to the extent possible.
- Factual: Present facts and ideas that are well supported by research, and are accepted by the preponderance of experts in that field.
- Inclusive of Multiple Perspectives: Always aim to acknowledge and present multiple perspectives in your classes.
- Exclusive of Sensationalized Content: Text, images, and content should not be sensationalized.
Class content must be accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the course objectives. Avoid outdated or misleading information that may confuse learners.
III. Camanda classes should be clear and accessible
Present content in a clear, structured manner that is easily understandable for learners. Ensure accessibility considerations are addressed, such as using accessible formats for materials.
IV. Camanda classes should be engaging and interactive
Foster learner engagement through interactive elements, such as quizzes, exercises, and discussions. Give water breaks between sessions to avoid saturation and encourage active participation among learners.
V. Camanda classes should be secular
It should not promote a specific political or religious point of view. Avoid content that may be discriminatory or offensive to any group or individual. Respect and represent diverse perspectives and backgrounds in course content.
